What can I get my sewing machine knotted up?
I'm new to sewing and need help please. I was in the middle of making my children garden gnome costume and my machine jams when I start sewing, and there is a huge ball of knotted cloth when I flip the fabric over. What could be causing this??? I replaced the needle and made sure the coil is wrapped well. Please help. PS. I have a Singer sewing machine that I cleaned and lubricated, as described in the manual. The setting was perfect for the last 3 projects I've done that have never adjusted them. I got it now, wasn't coil unwinding in the direction correct
For some reason, one of my machines will do the same if not remove the coil and put back in when changing the upper thread, take both post and return put. If the seam fast slower. Good luck
